BUMP Families

At BUMP, we are committed to creating a positive, enriching experience for both children and their families. Strong communication and connection are at the heart of what we do.

We encourage all families to stay informed by reviewing our monthly newsletter and school calendar, where you’ll find important updates, classroom highlights, and upcoming events.

Our preschool office door is always open. If you ever have questions, concerns, or simply want to connect, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we are here to support you every step of the way. Thank you for trusting BUMP with your child’s early learning journey.

Staying Connected

We use a childcare communication app to keep everything in one convenient place. Through the app, you will be able to:

  • View newsletters and school announcements
  • Receive updates and photos from your child’s day
  • Manage your family profile information
  • Handle tuition payments
  • Communicate directly with teachers and staff

Additional setup information will be shared before the start of the school year to ensure a smooth transition.

Community & Connection

Our BUMP community extends beyond the classroom. Families are always welcome to use the BUMP playground for informal playdates after school, in the evenings, or on weekends. It’s a wonderful way for children to build friendships and for families to connect with one another.

 

Get Involved at BUMP

We believe that a strong school community is built through family involvement. There are many meaningful (and flexible!) ways to participate in your child’s experience at BUMP:

Volunteer in the Classroom
Spend time in your child’s classroom by assisting with activities, reading with small groups, or helping during special projects.

Mystery Reader
Sign up to be a Mystery Reader and surprise your child’s class with a favorite story. This is always a highlight for our students!

Special Events & Fundraisers
Help us plan, organize, or support school events and fundraisers throughout the year. Whether you have a little time or a lot, every bit helps build our community.

Join the BUMP Board
Families interested in taking a more active role in shaping our programs and events are encouraged to join the BUMP Board.

Lend a Helping Hand
From prepping classroom materials at home to helping with seasonal activities, there are many behind-the-scenes ways to support our teachers.

Bringing Learning to Life

At BUMP, we believe learning should be engaging, hands-on, and fun! Throughout the year, we enrich our preschool experience with special programs and memorable experiences for our students.

We welcome special visitors and activities such as:

  • Story time visits from the Bexley Library
  • Interactive Music Time
  • Movement and fitness with Jump Bunch
  • Weekly Spanish class to introduce new language skills

We also offer exciting field trip experiences, including:

  • A fall visit to the Pumpkin Patch
  • A hands-on learning trip to the Farm

These experiences help bring our curriculum to life, spark curiosity, and create lasting memories for our children.
