It’s time to register for the 2021-2022 school year! All registration will take place through email, fax, or mail for families not currently attending BUMP.
Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is still ongoing, but most classes are full and we are taking wait list spots. Please click this link to start the registration process (you will reserve a spot through our sign up link, then you will have 24 hours to complete and send in your paperwork and pay your registration fee. Wait-listing families do not pay a registration fee until we can confirm a space is available. We are evaluating whether to add spaces and teachers to specific age groups, so please add yourself to the waitlist if the schedule you wish is not available.
Welcome to Bexley United Methodist Preschool! Established in 1952, BUMP is a non-profit preschool open to potty-trained children ages 3-5 years old of all religious and ethnic backgrounds. We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services (ODJFS).
We believe that each child is unique and learns best through play. We use a project approach where children will have the opportunity to explore topics that are of interest and relevance to them in an interactive, hands-on way. Academics and kindergarten readiness skills will be integrated into their daily activities. Our classrooms are designed so that children have the ability to make choices, develop strong social skills, and practice important self-help skills. We use the Highscope curriculum which is aligned with the State of Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards. We nourish and encourage each child’s natural curiosity!
We offer flexible scheduling where parents can choose the schedule that best fits their family’s needs. We offer part day (9am-12:30pm) and full day (8am-4pm) classes where you can choose 2, 3, or 5 days. Beginning with the 2021-2122 school year, our full day class will extend to 5pm to better serve your families scheduling needs.
We are proud to partner with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and their Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative. For more information, please see the Parent Links tab.
