Today we painted our Apple baskets using red and green apples, searched for the letter Cc using our dotting markers, we discussed the life cycle of an Apple and how it works, we took a small tour in the book fair, and talked/listed all the many yummy things apples can make.

Today we did some amazing marble painting and they all turned out so beautiful and colorful! We built with the giant lego blocks, continued to finish out giant rainbow! And played with out 3D shapes at the light table.

Today we had our first Secret Great Reader! Wren’s Dad came to our classroom and read to amazing books! One about eating our books! And the other is about not trusting fish (said by a crab lol. The Balloonies loved every minute of it.

“I love a rainbow!” We are building a rainbow out of different materials in our classroom! We made and are observing our “walking rainbow experience” and how the water will not only change color but will travel from napkin to napkin and cup to cup. Also read books together, practiced writing different words that start with the letter B, and built trains as a team!

This week is Colors & Shapes so today we used tissue paper to create a colorful collage, practiced writing the letter Bb, searched for letters and shapes in our sensory bin, and talked about all the different colors during circle time!

From Writing our Names to counting our friends out on the playground to practice writing the letter Aa on the chalkboard , the Balloonies have had a busy day!
